    Robert Garcia, older brother and trainer of WBO super featherweight champion Mikey Garcia, says his brother would not make a leap of two divisions just to face Manny Pacquiao, currently the WBO welterweight champion.

    Before Mikey became entangled in a legal dispute with his promoter, Top Rank - the CEO of Top Rank, Bob Arum, mentioned the possibility of a fight between Mikey and Pacquiao in the near future.

      Damn no one even cares about this Mikey kid huh? He needs to get his ass back in the ring and make weight and not quit when the going gets tough.

                          Tired of waiting for Garcia fight the top fighters of his division. He will continue to fight the so so fighters of the division and continue to collect belts.

                          He is a waste of talent at this point

                              mikey wouldn't even go to 135 to fight gamboa. i used to be a fan, but he is now a coward to me and should retire.

                                  I don't blame him for not taking his fighter 2 levels above where he is currently champ. No need to rush. Pac will be there in two more years and Garcia will be more experienced. We all saw what happened to Broner when he went into deep waters too soon. He got KO'd. Garcia should defend his title and slowly make that jump to welterweight where Bradley, Pac, Broner, and plenty of others will be waiting for his arrival. If he fights Pac too soon, it wouldn't even be a contest. Pac wins in 8 by KO and the only reason it last for 8 rounds is because he toyed with Garcia before deciding to close the curtains. But 2 yrs from now...Garcia may get the edge if Pac isn't at the top of his game.

                                      Mikey should call out paper champ Figueroa at 35, would be ez pickings for Garcia to take his title. Maybe we'll see the wbc belt being used for the first time since Pacman n Valero had it
