Was anyone else really satisfied seeing Love lose?

I don't have any other reasons, I just have this dislike of J'Leon Love. I know he wasn't majorily hyped but some people have called him an heir to boxing's throne. (I believe Floyd has said similar remarks about him, but I know he's his promoter too)

I don't really have any dislikes for other fighters like that except Love. I like Mayweather a lot more than I like Love.

I'm simply being a "hater" on Love. I guess this post makes me an imbecile, oh well.

Love is in great position to offer Rosado that rematch he deserves.

I'm for eliminating fighters who get undeserved attention whilst being decent at best, sometimes less than decent. That being Love, Rosado too...even though he might have made himself relevant again for fuck's sake he won't go away

Boxing needs needs guys like Rosado. Prospects can't just go from beating up TBAs straight to title shots. Gatekeepers are an important part of the sport.

yeah its pretty backwards thinking ive got going on right now. i think a lot of it stems from watching him fight, always thought he's never gonna make it to a championship (so im a bit glad im right, so far).

i wouldnt say i necessarily "hate" him, i just dont really know. like i said, that post verifies im posting as an imbecile right now. or being an egotistical boxing fan.

Love seems like a nice guy, I usually refrain from mocking fighters who get KTFO because I consider that a cowardly thing to do, but I couldn't help myself from smirking at the twerking...

My critique hand is dealt across the entire landscape of boxing with things like this. Simply put, I love it when setups fail. They try to groom a guy for a title fight by fighting guys who are setups and then the ceiling caves in. Love, Badou Jack, and others are really nothing special. But someone is going to give them a TV spot, have it be on the undercard of a matchup between stars, not these guys.

Having said that, guys like Jose Benavidez and Jesse Magdaleno make what Love is fighting look like Murderers row. If someone is going to be fair about Love not worthy of a TV spot then so are these prospects and former Olympians who fight CRAP on TV. Guys like Oscar De La Hoya's cousin is always on TV and he is being fed nothing but gravy train stiffs.

I wouldn't say satisfied. I'm not satisfied to see anybody lose. These guys are just prize fighters trying to make their lives better. If you're good enough you will make it to the top. If you make it that far I will give you your credit. If your not you will fold. Love folded like thousands of others have.

He's not the first hyped up prospect to get knocked off track and he won't be the last. If your mad about him getting gift decisions and TV time write to Espinoza and Mayweather Promotions. But Love is just a guy that shows up and fights.
