i think ggg might end up like arthur abrahams
There is no chance he ends up like Arthur Abraham. Abraham had little beside his power and was scared to come out of his shell. Golovkin isn't some power puncher, he's a very good boxer who happens to have power.

If that facebook thing was actually a poll than this move from Froch is not better than what Mayweather did when the majority of people voted for Khan on his poll but he fought against Maidana instead.
If it's totally whatever and you decided that you won't fight against a certain fighter then don't make a fucking poll or at least don't throw in it a fighter who you won't fight, regardless of the poll. This is a straigth up lack of respect toward his fans.Last edited by HEND; 09-01-2014, 04:02 PM.

There has been negotiations in the past. Whether anything more recent prompted Froch to include GGG in his poll is unclear - I kinda assumed that Froch wouldn't have belatedly added Golovkin to the poll if it wasn't an option, but who knows?
As far as I know though there has been no specific offer from either team to the other.

People talking about Froch (probably not even him) posting pictures on his Facebook as if it's serious business

Hearn has discussed this already - Froch/Golovkin needs to be a ppv-level fight in the US in order to make it financially viable. Both men would want atleast $4mill a piece. HBO told Hearn the market's not there yet amongst mainstream fans in order to support a ppv.
Froch's fans will fill the seats, and there'll be strong UK tv sales, but Golovkin would need to be the A-side in order to support the ppv sales in the US, as Froch's US tv-ratings were never that impressive. Maybe towards the end of 2015 it will though.
