We share a name and we share an opinion on this one. Kirkland especially, is dangerous if you do not get him out of there quickly. If he makes it past the second round, Cotto will be in a world of trouble.

If Andy Lee is a high risk fight then Cotto has no business at 160. He probably doesn't belong anyway but that's another story.

How? With Kirkland defence Cotto's left hook and jab will land over 60% of the time. You think Kirkland can take Cotto's power for 6-7 rounds?

Andy Lee looked poor in his last fight, the KO punch was great but he was getting beat until that point. Kirkland is more dangerous, shame he won't be able to squeeze in a fight before this one.

If Cotto fights Canelo instead of GGG, its understandable, but ****ing Andy Lee or Kirkland? Duck...

When Kirkland Finds his groove, and gets warmed up. His chin improves and he is super damaging. He has power, accuracy and can tear guys up with his unrelenting stamina on the inside. He is very dangerous for any fighter once he gets warmed up. Cotto since finding his aggressive style again may get him out of there beforehand, but there is still a huge risk involved.

I'm glad Cotto turned down unknown Golovkin for financial reasons and found household name superstars like Lee and Kirkland instead.

Cotto vs Kirkland at 154 is a recipe for disaster! Andy Lee on the other hand....meh.
