WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri (20-0, 8KOs) is fully focused on the biggest fight of his career, when he challenges Manny Pacquiao for the WBO welterweight title on November 22nd in Macau, China.

Algieri tells BoxingScene.com that he's not bothered by the recent comments from Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38KOs) and his trainer, Freddie Roach, who are already discussing a mega-match next year with Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs), who himself is scheduled to face Marcos Maidana in a rematch on September 13th.

lol algeri is trying to spoil the potential may-pac party. the guy has some reach on him and can box a little bit but I dunno if he can beat manny. he survived provs heavy hands but prov is as fast or skilled as pac. pac needs to blast this guy out and Floyd pitch a shutout on chino to make this fights hype be in order. or if Floyd looks not so great again and pac blasts algeri out then that works too lol

I would have no problem with it if the Pac-May fight wouldn't happen now. Fuck both of them and the prmoters both of them wherefore it didn't happen when it would made the most sense. I hope one of them or both of them will lose their next fight though it's not likely.

I'm not, I just think he has gotten too big for his britches. He needs a dose of reality, and in reality he's not an elite level fighter.
