Why is it that boxing fans can not just enjoy boxing?? why do we have to compare promotional companies, advisers, television stations?? etc etc when the only reason you hate either in reality is Floyd or Manny...deny it all you want but that is the reason for the Haymon hate..the Showtime/HBO hate....now all the sudden ya'll love GoldenBoy but at first they were hated too....shut the hell up and just watch boxing damn

I think they're about the same. Showtime puts on some pretty competitive shobox cards and they just put on the brook porter fight. I think next weeks fight with Taylor is actually good. The backlash from the salka fight I think has warped people's opinion, understandably, regarding what kind of fights they have put on. The canelo card was pretty good even though the fight ******. On the flip side hbo gave us ggg vs no one special and kovalev against the same. They've both done good, I just don't want to see the continuation of Salka type cards. Those fights ******.

If your referring to last night that was ShoBox. That's different from ShowTime Championship Boxing. ShoBox existed long before Haymon even started working with the network and it is a show for prospects. Much like the FoxSports cards or Friday Night Fights.

HBO doesn't have anything comparable to ShoBox.
