Comments Thread For: Thurman Would Love Statement KO Win of Tim Bradley

WBA interim-welterweight champion Keith Thurman (23-0, 21KOs) is very interested in landing a potential fight with former two-division champion Timothy Bradley (31-1, 12KOs). Now that Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank are on better working terms, Thurman could see himself facing a fighter promoted under the Top Rank banner.

"Definitely. Timothy is a big name, he’s been around and I would be able to make a big statement with getting a victory, and especially a KO victory over Timothy Bradley," Thurman told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

What's your prediction? I like Keith's power, but Bradley is a vet, as long as he doesn't get into a war like he did with provodnikov, I think he wins comfortably.

Damn this is a good fight, I hope it can happen, I'm not counting Bradley out though, the man is underrated, has the footwork, the hand speed. I see this a very close scored fight in a decision, I don't see anyone getting KOed. I think it will come down to who's got a better stamina.

I'm riding with TB. He can take a punch and use his movement to cause Keith problems. Great fight that would be packed with action, excitement and drama.

I don't see how Arum can make this happen for Bradley, when he couldn't find an opponent for Pacquiao other than Algeri. If this happens, then it confirms that Arum is protecting Manny.

Thurman ain't knocking Bradley out, I'd pick Bradley close decision.
