as long as it's off ppv, that's fine with me.

it's a crap fight, but i'm not going to have to pay $60-70 for it.

A soft touch would be Smith, Bundrage, Lee, Nelson, D. Rodriguez, Karrass.

how was clottey's loss to cotto "illegitimate?"

that was a very close fight, and cotto got the nod.

lots of you guys [nsb] need to go back to robbery school, because you don't know the difference between a robbery and a close fight.

clottey is a soft touch for a fighter whose last three fights were $70. he looked ok against mundine, but it's freaking tony mundine. clottey was basically retired for several years.

i agree. algieri is far superior. better movement, defense, actually throws punches in combinations, big heart, etc.

prime clottey was good, but prime clottey was back at welterweight.

I don't know how anybody can defend Clottey of Kirkland.

I rather it be vs Cotto because that fight is ripe right now

Take it as a "tune up" and experience it as a mistake.

u all r sleepin on Clottey, I don't expect him to UD Canelo, and I've only watched the mundine fight since he's been back, but he looked alright in that fight, I've always been a somewhat fan of Clottey and wouldn't mind watching this fight. If Clottey throws punches, then I think it'll be a great exciting fight, if he shells up, then it will be Canelo, but Canelo's gna have to throw sum crafty combos to penetrate the guard early

Clottey is way past it at this point. Not sure why people are hyping him up. Best win he ever had was against a small Corrales. He's come short against Margarito, Cotto, Pac. This is a showcase fight for canelo for HBO before the mega fight with cotto next year.

I was hoping for James but I understand why they are bypassing him.. Too dangerous to derail the big money fight.
