chinito busted me up. He looks just like his dad and was a teary mess when he had to go back to Argentina.

I don't always cry, but when I do, it's due to Maidana hugging his crying chinito.

      ----

Floyd's relationship to women, money, and things is so strange. He's obviously trying to fill a void in his life with possessions, including women as things to have. Or he is responding to his upbringing. How was his family growing up? He has all these things but seems to have no friends or things beyond possession.

He also stutters, which can sometimes be linked to childhood insecurities and parents who didn't instill confidence.

Honestly, despite his money, he seems like he's trying to be happy. Hopefully he is a good father or tries his best to be. Given what he says about his mother, father, and growing up, he does his best to be relatively normal. I honestly feel for him.

i feel you on the confidence thing, i get the feeling that he needs constant validation from everyone around him and it seems like hes too much of a person-pleaser.

at least floyd takes care of his kids tho. a lot of professinal athletes are *******s when it comes to taking care of children. i respect floyd for that

When they showed Chino at the very end, his love handles looked massive. Garcia knows boxing but he knows nothing about recovery, nutrition, energy systems etc. Could hurt Maidana not being handled scientifically but I'm rooting hard for him. Gotta figure Ariza could have been more of a benefit to Chino with the 8 weeks to work with as well.

Seemed like there was so much more real emotion between maidana and his kid than floyd and ... well anybody. Kinda makes you feel sorry for floyd in a way ... yeah he's got more money than god but does he have anybody that would cry at the thought of leaving him?

Is it wrong that I would **** that blonde gold digger that Floyd hangs with? I probably couldn't afford that though.

These series are complete garbage now, both All Access and 24/7.

Yes, Floyd is damaged goods. Much rather be in Maidana's skin than Floyd's. Floyd's life, as opulent as it is, is very shallow. Does not look fun.

Yeah, one of them is Ms. Sunray and I'm unsure of the other chicks name.

Precisely...happiness is a state of mind. It cannot be bought. The rich that these kids envy and venerate often times lose themselves in the materialistic world that is their oyster. Ironically, the common working man that was so negatively referenced in this thread is probably richer than Floyd is where it counts. Many of us probably are as well.

                      The answer is no.
