If Floyd hadn't pointed out his hand issues on 24/7 years ago...

...would boxing fans have known about the handicap? I remember when he pointed out his brittle hands in a 24/7 ep (either DLH or Hatton) and I've been hearing about the issue from NSB posters ever since. My question is, other than him pointing it out, what evidence is there that his hands are on the fritz? Does he pull punches, not commit to punches like he used to, etc...?
Just curious to hear from those who've studied his career

He broke his hand years ago against Hernandez and had to take a knee(his only official knockdown) the world already knew

I doubt we would have know it through sources other than 24x7/All Access. In the recent episodes of such shows they've shown him working on a racket like device where he uses his fingers to contract the strings. I think it is supposed to heal his hands. He uses the stress ball also.
