The hate and venom is nothing compared to Garcia-Salka. Maybe not a pass, but the not the level of attention it deserves. He has never fought one elite fighter in a 3 weight title run and that in itself is sad.

I love his style and his backstory, but he's well past this level of opponent.

Not nearly as many people give a damn about Santa Cruz as they do Garcia. You won't see nearly as many people defend Santa Cruz as defended Garcia for the same reason.

Other than a couple people you know not to take seriously, everyone is ripping this fight. And they should, because it's even worse than Garcia/Salka.

It figures the first Mayweather fight I've actually been intrigued about since ****ing Mosley would have such a bad undercard. No way I'm paying for just Mayweather/Maidana 2, as excited as I am by the fight.
