Comments Thread For: Roach: Floyd Mayweather's Legs Are Gone, He's All Done!

Freddie Roach, trainer of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, says his fighter would face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a unification at any weight required. Mayweather holds the WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight titles.

Pacquiao defends his title against Chris Algieri on November 22nd at the Venetian in Macau, China. Mayweather will face Marcos Maidana in a rematch on September 13th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Roach, just stop. If Maidana wins he beat Floyd at his best, Floyd hasn't lost a step.

I don't think they're "gone", but I'm starting to back off my initial prediction of a wider Mayweather decision this time around. I still think he'll win, but El Chino is going to make his mark.

As for Roach, he'll be giving Mayweather shit after Pacquiao retires probably. Nothing to see.

Roach would know a thing or two about identifying fighters on the decline.

Mayweather when he was in the lower weights had more power and use to take more chances. Now floyd is safety first because he fightin guys bigger than him. Remember floyd is a natural 140 pounder he eats what he wants and walks around at 150. He could possibly make lightweight. I hate floyd too.

Floyd doesn't have great foot work but despite that he moves around just fine in the ring. It's his hands which are brittle & definitely go some amount of deterioration post every training camp/fight.

Floydiots and their excuses saying that Manny Pacquiao ducked mayweather twice by "walking away" from negotiations in 3...2...1...
