Comments Thread For: Canelo's Next Ring Return Will Not Be on PPV

The details pertaining to the return of former world champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (44-1-1, 32KOs) are being finalized in the coming days. The one thing surely known is that his next, either in late November or early December, will not be on pay-per-view. Canelo's last three fights, against Floyd Mayweather Jr., Alfredo Angulo and Erislandy Lara, have been carried by Showtime Pay-Per-View.

Seems like worthy competition. I like the Kirkland fight for fireworks.

Canelo vs Kirkland is PPV worthy because Kirkland shows up to fight. I doubt it that it will happen now since Canelo will be on the regular network for his upcoming fight.

It's a **** fight, I agree, but nothing looks better , to sell the cotto fight, than to see canelo unloading on a punching bag like clottey.

How could this be when Canelo being on the undercard and in the main event were the reason why Floyds cards sold so well?

Kirkland is fireworks but all are worthy opponents.

I thought Clottey beat Cotto when they fought...

To build up his fight with cotto in may. Hell Floyd doesn't even fight three times a year
