    Arce for sure.

Castillo had a lot of great fights, but ultimately came up short in his big fights.
Lost to Mayweather (debatable) first Corrales fight and was KO'd by Ricky Hatton.

I'm with you. I think Arce is a shoe-in for the H.O.F. whenever he retires. Arce might fight Gonzalez on October 4th. If Arce can somehow pull off the upset that would be the icing on the cake of his H.O.F. career.

For those that voted for Castillo, what if Arce somehow beats Jhonny Gonzalez on their proposed fight on 10/4 , would you rate Arce over Castillo?

If Arce beats Gonzalez he would be a 5-Division Champion.

          Castillo and Arce

Castillo was the best lightweight of the last 10-15 years

Wins over near Greats Johnston, Corrales, and Casamayor and solid wins over Reyes, NGoudjo, Julio Diaz in his prime, Cesar Bazan was a former titlist who also beat Johnston, solid contender Juan Lazcano.

Arce was in exciting fights from 108-122 and has won various titles throughout. Was never a pound for pound guy but brought excitement, charisma and power to largely ignored weight classes and has won fights where he was counted out.

I personally include a victory over Mayweather in Castillo's resume.

Most definitely Castillo, he did beat Mayweather afterall even tho the judges saw otherwise as opposed to basically everybody who has seen the fight minus mayweather fans.

Plus his fights with Corrales will always be legendary, and win or lose, if you are involved in a legendary fight you should be in the hall of fame, what the hell is supposed to be the criteria for being inducted into the hall of fame these days anyways??

Didn't Sylvester Stallone get inducted into the Hall of Fame....? -_-

If Marc Johnson was able to make it into the HOF with a not so stellar resume based largely on the often exaggerated claim that he was being ducked, then a few of these guys are at least deserving of consideration. I'd favor Castillo then Arce. If Arce manages to pull of a win over Gonzalez, he'll make a good case as it would give him his fifth divisional title over a span of six divisions.
