They're probably giving 50 what he wants in the first place. Probably wants a big circus PPV boxing fight with Floyd, which would sell over 1 million PPV's i'm sure. His album, Animal Ambition, has struggled to sell even 100k. It's at 90k copies right now, a big turn around for a guy who once sold 1 million copies in the first week of The Massacre, 700k copies in the first week of "Curtis". Yes he makes millions of dollars elsewhere, but 50 wants the fame back, he is not as popular as he used to be. He's getting blasted out of the Hi Hop scene by Drake, Rick Ross, TI, and the like.

One thing Sr/Jr have to be careful with is that 50 Cent is a former Golden Gloves champion for NY. So although at this very moment he may be very sloppy, rusty beyond belief, he could hire a good trainer to bring back his skills. That is to be fair to 50. He would also be huge, and a fighter with decent skills who is way too big for his otherwise superior opponent, might end up winning.
