I understand that Pascal is a big draw but Stevenson is the Champ. 55-45, or 60-40 should be enough for both sides to get it done. I think Stevenson wants to take an easy fight and wait to see how the fight between Hopkins and Kovalev plays out. Hopkins would help him do huge numbers in Canada, and with Kovalev he can demand more money.

Superman got to be single. There is noway a female is going to let him throw 50 million out the door. Win or lose, women need new shoes and purses. Superman is not delivering. Boxing is business first, then everything else. That's why Hopkins is calling the shots. If it makes busine$$ $ense, Hopkins will fight anybody. That's why he is well respected. Even Pascal hasn't turned down a major fight. He fought Hopkins twice and cashed out. And he is still ranked in the top 10 of Lightheavys. You have to respect Pascal for challenging the current champ. That's what real champions do.

Unfortunately not many Canadian's outside of Quebec have any idea who Jean Pascal even is.

A thing that irks me so much. I don't even know what is missing and why can't their superstar status be transcended beyond Quebec? May be they themselves should try reaching out to the public as well.
