Comments Thread For: Carl Frampton: My Best Beats Kiko Martinez Every Time!

Carl Frampton (18-0, 13KOs) has no doubts about becoming a world champion when he faces Kiko Martinez (31-4, 23KOs) for the IBF super bantamweight title on September 6th at Titanic Quarter in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Frampton previously knocked off Martinez in nine rounds back in February of last year. But then Martinez captured the IBF title and racked off several notable wins.

Frampton is ignoring the outcome of the first fight, because he anticipates a new and improved Martinez next month

He better be ready. He is the better fighter, but he will have to deliver a perfect performance to beat this version of Martinez. This is a strange sport and sometimes will prevails over talent (Orlando Salido is a good example). Frampton has been protected and he hasn't grown as a fighter. It's going to be a long night for both. The Irish will have to endure pain. The old version of Martinez perforated his ear drum and took him to the limit, we'll see what happens now.
