Calling a fight a "tuneup" doesn't justify horrible mismatches.

Garcia could have fought and beat up some top 20-30 JWW and it would have been understandable, if not ideal. I mean, Garcia was coming off a fight most thought he lost.

why not??? he is a showtime fighter.....inow if it was on ppv then we could complain..but it was what it was a tune up, none title fight

because it was the headline, and as a subscriber we expect quality fights, not bs like this. He deserves the criticism for taking on an opponent like Salka on any level, but if that was the opening bout on a three fight card, where there were going to be real and competitive fights headlining, then it would probably have been less of an issue for some

The fight was disrespectful to the hardcore boxing fans, not to mention salka and his family.

"He got paid doe" he could have gotten paid fighting Figueroa who he thought he was going to fight eventually if he kept winning.
