A fighter that "doesn't have legs" typically slows down and is dazed by shots (body shots in particular) that could previously absorb; even a 60 years old can jog for 30 minutes if nobody is hitting him .

It's not like Floyd lacks the stamina to move around the ring, his age showed in terms of output.
He did not get off first and impose his rhythm, rather, he allowed Maidana to rush in.
He was landing the cleanest shots with his counters but was being very conservative in terms of output, allowing el Chino to work.

Fighters that get off first trouble Maidana imo (Khan, Alexander, Ortiz even).
Floyd is still faster but he'd need to keep up a good rhythm with the jab and work much more than he's used to.
Maidana also slowed down which gave Floyd time to move about in a more leisurely pace like he was versus Canelo. Floyd's legs by Floyd's standards have been gone post Hatton. There were times when Maidana would flick the jab and change levels and Floyd would go to the ropes instead of taking a step or 2 over and causing Maidana to reset entirely. If his legs were such to keep that up, the first fight wouldn't have been as close. He still has good legs for a fighter but he definitely doesn't have that spring in his step. He's 37 afterall.

      Old

Floyd is getting old. His legs are not what they used to be. I see him getting knocked out in this fight.

Helps : like Leonard Hearns,,,Ali Frazier,,,Foreman Ali countless more

        Name Jr's
He has no equal or anyone that can compete with him. Can't fault him for being too good.

The way Maidana fight, I wouldn't be surprised if this is his worst performance. Their styles match up ugly.

" Cat in the Hat" you say?

i don't understand the hate on Floyd, are we too used to watching him dismantle and break down opponents based on his ability? that a close fight we call BS on when he talks about wanting to KO this dude? This is what every boxer does coming off a bad performance, how many times has Freddie Roach and Manny claimed they were going to KO every opponent since 2009 lol, c'mon now, you all have way too many double standards when talking about boxers.

Not that far fetched for Floyd to win this next fight TKO, not KO, why throw aroudn the word KO, that means a one punch knockout lol, Floyd could TKO Maidana, if Khan had enough power to put him on the mat for a body punch, then Floyd does too, if Ortiz had enough power, then I'm sure Floyd does too, you all don't give him enough credit as far as his power goes, he has enough to keep most fighters honest if not they all would have ran over him, and you have to give Floyd more credit for his chin, he got clocked with shots in th eMaidana fight and was never hurt or stumbled one time. I'm calling a TKO 9th - 12th round

With welters, unless its a situation similar to Ortiz, Floyd has to put together some serious combinations to get a fighter outta there.

Only way I see that happening is if he catches Marcos with a punch Marcos doesn't see, and immediately follows up. Even then he's taking a risk that he hasn't taken in some time.

Diego was a beast and undefeated WITH a title belt and many, including thd boxing pundits thought Diego would kill Floyd and send him packing.

In fact, Diego talked lots of trash before the fight, and was turned into a mute who's dad had to rescue from further beatdowns by desperately waving off the fight by stoppage.

No disrespect to Diego, who continued fighting after that and revived his career with an outstanding performance against Castillo.

Mayweather looked invincible in the first fight. He was pounded repeatedly with pillows and he was throwing dollar bills the next week. The only difference I see in the rematch is he'll go back to his typical running and pot-shotting style.

Maidana may have some moments, but it will be a boring fight throughout.

No one is going down. You gotta be ****** to believe so. It will be another boring UD win.
