Cotto can't really beat Pacquiao with any specific strategy.

He can't beat Pacquiao at long range because Pacquiao can go in and out too quickly for him to react. And he surely can't try to rought Pacquiao up because he would eat tons of punches while trying to close the distance, Pacquiao is a killer against pressure fighters.

The only way i can see him winning is catching Pacquiao cold mid-exchange, but that is also hard because Manny's punches would get there first.

      ^^^ This

Cotto knows that Pacquiao can hurt him. Cotto was loading up in the first fight and Pac took them no problem

I think Pacquiao lets him make it to the final bell, cuz there friends and stablemates, the more I think about it

        Pac is Cotto's papi.

        Bottom line.

Funny how 1 loss makes some people forget. Pacman picks Cotto apparts once again for a wide UD. Styles makes fight and Manny is all wrong for Cotto.

What's interesting is you don't hear either man's name in the other's mouth.

Sure wouldn't it be a big paycheck?

IMO not easily but Pac UD, 115-113 or something like that. But I see that some people still don't understand, that Pac last KO was 5 years ago and the chance that he would KO Cotto now is extremely low, unrealistic.

Come on guys let's be real. Pacquiao can't even weigh as heavy as 147 these days, that's why he's fighting a light welter in November. Cotto comfortably weighed in at 155 for Martinez. That alone is 10 pounds of muscle not even including how much he rehydrates. Cotto would physically be much bigger than pacquiao, who has never legitimately fought at light middle or middleweight.

Pacquiao has slowed down a little bit and cotto seems pretty strong at this weight.

And they're friends too so it's unlikely they would fight

Pacquiao is fighting at 144 in November which is WW. Anything above 140 is WW.

They'll never fight each other again, Freddie said as much when he started training Cotto. Even Roach knows a mentally stable, bigger and better version of Cotto would be a problem for Manny.
