Let's clarify: I personally couldn't give a **** if Lacy was Iranian and Calzaghe was from Barcelona. Nationality means nothing to me.

But to see the ignorance on this forum ("I've never seen Calzaghe fight, so my opinion is....") combined with MONTHS of race hate/nationalistic abuse it's finally time to say "**** you, morons!"


Oh, and beating a shot Robin Reid and a scared Pemberton made Lacy the best Supermiddle on the planet.

calzaghe is definately a bad mutha, much respect to him. I had no idea it would be that easy for him, although I picked him by UD to win. i thought lacy would land at least one flush bomb though and Cal get KD. Had no idea he was that ****in good at rollin with shots, jesus christ, I was feeling sorry for lacy and the other men in that division who had to fight calzaghe when I was watching the fight around round 5, thinking theres no way lacy can take this for 12. but he did. much respect to lacy for what he said at the end, 'i got to the top and fought the best'. if only other fighters, i wont say any names, did that.

and britain has the supermiddleweight title again! gratz.

That's half the problem... it shouldn't be "our guy" and "your guy"... if a Brit wins this place goes into meltdown. Imagine if Brits owned all the major belts in all the higher divisions - BS would implode!

Your reading into what I'm saying too much. You guys are attacking Lacy, and are fans of Calzaghe, so I'm saying "your guy" because you guys are part of his fan base. I have no problem with British fighters, I wouldn't implode if they won all the belts.
