There was a time which Ward could have beaten Golovkin. That time is now passed.

Ward is finished. He will go don't as an ATG.

Golovkin is also nothing less than an ATG!

I could see Ward beating GGG and vice versa. I could see Ward Frustrating GGG all night but can also see Ward doing something repetitive and GGG capitalizing on it. Ward would have to be very careful as GGG is not a one trick pony.

It does not matter though, as the fight will never happen. Ward has his head stuck so far up his own a$$ that nobody will want to deal with him. It is a shame because he was so on the verge of stardom. Then he got complacent and that P4P#2 ranking got to him. He considers it a right to passage and that everyone should cater to him.

Andre is not Floyd. He is not anywhere close to Floyd. Floyd has the pull and power to make demands.

I really really hope Ward just gets back in the ring, with anyone at this point. Start building some momentum for big fights. As a previous poster mentioned, he has the potential to be an ATG. Ward is near impossible to look good against. I think he is a better version of Hopkins honestly. Why would he throw away his prime? He is not fighting for peanuts anyway! He got paid 2 mill for E-Rod. I am sure when you factor in the revenue generated for the fight he made out like a bandit.

Golovkin is an ATG? Based on what? On his achievments? His best win is Daniel Geale. Mad props for GGG! It's amazing how much ass licking the KO kings get. Cotto is just one year older than GGG and just compare their resume... For what these guys like Kovalev and GGG get the defication? Because they have KO wins? Please take a look at against whom.
Ward never fights again? Based on what? He is inactive, but he had already a fight during the lawsuit in last November. And if his contract expired, in 2016 he will be still just 31-32 years old, which is with Ward's style mean at least 3-4 more good years.
And Ward won't beat Golovkin anyomore? Based on what? Ward is younger than Golovkin for God's sake, and his style is more chronic on the top than Golovkin's and he didn't even decline on his last few fights. I would bet that to Ward's name will remember more people 10-20 years later than Golovkin's. Don't get me wrong, Golovkin is a very talented, good boxer, but IMO compare to Ward he is just a passing fashion.

And no excuses by the Ward fans, because we don't need any, why would we? Because his inactivity and the lawsuit? What the fuck has to do that with his quality as a fighter? I'm sorry for him because he fucked this up and he is responsible too for his inactivity, not just Goossen. But how this proves to you that he is finished and not good anymore? Don't need excuses, his inactivity is just inactivity, doesn't mean that he is a worse fighter than he used to be, if he would return just in 2016 he would still beat Golovkin, Kovalev and whoever he face from 160 to 175. Believe it. You will see it by yourself, I hope earlier than 2016.

People still in here defending Son of Golovkin I see... Just remember that his promoter tried to get him a fight against Kessler, in Denmark for a lot of money and... Andre turned it down. Anyone seeing this and saying anything other than Andre is being a diva is riding his nuts. His promoter is trying to get him fights, it's not Goosens fault Ward can't fight outside of his mini-arena and 10 friends watching.

According to his fans, the guy imaginably cleaned out the division. Yet what is the logical thing when you do? Move up right? Golovkin hasn't even unified or even started to truly face the best in his division and they want him to move up. All while they don't want the fake P4P #2 guy to move up. Talk about fanboyism. Ward fans are closing in with Floyd/Cotto/Packy fan base.
