That's one reason worshiping lineage in today's era is nonsensical. People who do this talk of tradition, but it was also tradition for the best to fight the best without today's games of politics, business, and aversion.

As for Jacobs, I commend his honesty. I have my doubts about his ability and he was virtually gifted a title, but he seems like a good guy.
