Where does Calzone's record stand next to Hopkins's now?

He's only one/two fights off Hopkins's number of successful defences (depends how you see it, because one was a NC) and while I appreciate it's hard to match a truly outstanding record that includes names like Antwun Echols and Robert Allen I'm sure Joe will give it a fair go.

Yes, Hopkins is probably better than Sugar Ray Robinson because he beat Andrew Council, but here's my top two tips for Calzaghe (what, no longer ***gy?) to get the acclaim that Hopkins has got:

    1. He still needs the "career defining fights" against little guys that put on weight. Remember, even though no one gave Oscar a hope in Hell of winning, it was a "HOF" shut out after the win. So maybe Eric Morales and Barrera can pile on the pounds and give Joe a shot at them to complete a legacy on a par with Bernard's?

    2. He needs to get an American passport. All Brits are **** apparently, and Joe was faking injuries because he was scared of Lacy.

Remember: arrogance + ignorance is a terrible thing. Maybe next time boxing will be discussed on here WITHOUT infantile references to a boxer's country of origin?

Somehow though, I doubt it. Morons, 90% of you... NSB is no longer worth reading, it's the refuge of the smack-talker and small minded bigot. Pathetic.

Calzaghe is awesome. He destoryed lacy and i fear he would probably stop either Hopkins or Tarver on that form. I don`t think any one can match him, let alone beat him. Who would have a chance? Shot Roy Jones...42 year old Hopkins? Tarver???? Glen Johnston! Lets get with the programme. There is not a fighter that can beat Calzaghe from 160 - 175. Period!
