Filipino junior flyweight contender Randy Petalcorin (22-1-1, 17 KOs) moved a big step forward to a world title shot, when he stopped Walter Tello (20-8, 8 KOs) of Panama in the seventh round, capturing the vacant WBA interim-junior flyweight title at the Mercedes Benz Arena, Shanghai.
