Sheffield’s Kid Galahad 17-0 (9 KOs) will have to look elsewhere for international experience after Canada’s Tyson Cave 24-2 (8 KOs) pulled out of their Sep 20 Commonwealth super bantamweight contest due to injury.
Galahad, who has also won the British (now vacated) and European 122lb titles will still fight that night at the Ponds Forge Arena in Sheffield, to be broadcast in the UK on Channel 5, but promoter Mick Hennessy now has his work cut out to get a credible opponent with just under three weeks to go.
