WBC interim-middleweight champion Marco Antonio Rubio (59-6-1, 51KOs) says every possible tactic will be necessary to defeat WBA/IBO beltholder Gennady Golovkin (30-0, 27KOs) in their HBO televised match on October 18th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. Rubio is training with veteran coach Robert Garcia in Oxnard.
"The plan will be to work very hard in the gym, obviously. Most important thing here is going to be the strength and conditioning," Rubio told Alfredo Berrios.
