Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sports is lining up a tough opponent for Kell Brook's first defense of the IBF welterweight title on December 6th in Sheffield.

Brook (33-0, 22KOs) captured the title two weeks ago with a twelve round majority decision over Shawn Porter at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Hearn has mentioned several names for Brook's first defense, including Robert Guerrero and Brandon Rios.

something tells me brook's team is getting a little ahead of themselves. porter was never really a very good fighter, he was okay but never anything special. brook neutralised his very basic, primitive come-forward-throw-wild style.
