Barrera fans stop acting like he battered Hamed when he outboxed him

Im so tired of people describing the fight as a drubbing, a beating, you can tell they haven't watched the fight or haven't in a while.

Barrera outboxed him, and didn't trade much....used his jab and picked his spots....took advantage of Hamed's growing dependence on one punch power and no combos.

A very good display but not a beating

Yes if you watch the fight multiple time you will realize that it was fairly competitive down the stretch of that fight... but, come on, it was as close to an undressing as you can get in boxing. Hamed had already started to let himself go in between fights but that was a devastating loss. he only fought once after that.

People exaggerate because it was nice to see Hamed humbled.

      Barrera was amazing that night.

hamed fans are the ones making excuses for hamed. In fact, they even accused Barrera of cheating. They could not stand see hamed beaten by the better boxer.

The fact of the matter is. Barrera the only good fighter hamed faced.

hamed was a hypejob. Nothing more.

That's the name of the game. There is no barely... its domination or nothing.

Just like Pac/Marquez CLOSE CLOSE RIVALRY.... then KTFO6.....

"automatically Marquez broke Manny's soul with that punch, reversing all previous fights making JMM 4-0 against Manny".

or we can just say it like it is.... A HUGE MAJORITY OF BOXING FANS ARE NATIONALISTIC MEXICANS. #TRUTH

Doesn't matter to me. The fact that Barrera won and embarrassed Hamed in the process was good enough for me

that statement shows you either didn't watch hamed in the 90's or don't know much about boxing.

Hamed cleaned out featherweight in the 90's beating good fighters like Tom Johnson, Vuyuni Bungu, Wilfredo Vazquez, Wayne McCullough etc

Naseem hamed is the last undisputed featherweight champion. He beat some very good fighters and he defeated 9 former titlists in 30+ fights.

If Hamed is a hypejob, then what is Barrera. Without the win over Hamed he wouldn't be where he is.

Before Barrera beat Hamed, people were labeling him as washed up

Loss to Morales, and 2 losses to Junior Jones....That win resurrected his career and he continued to show he was a very good fighter.

After wins over Hamed and Morales, there is a huge drop off in Barrera's level of competition he defeated

People make him out to be some legendary fighter but outside of the Morales rivalry and beating Hamed, he didn't beat a lot of great fighters....he changed his style prolonged his career etc...but he is no where near willie Pep, Sandy Saddler, when it comes to legendary he is not

Losses to Pacquaio, Junior Jones, Morales, Marquez

Great fighter but I don't know about all time great
