When you jab you drop your right, when you throw your right you drop your left, you need to learn how to keep your chin down, when you jab you move straight back with chin exposed up in the air, trying throwing a straight right rather than jab move back. Try stand next to a wall and jab and throw rights this will teach how to throw straight punches by keeping your elbows from sticking out, remember when you throw a punch it must be straight than than twist wrist right before impact if you stick your elbow out first before you throw a punch your punch won't be straight making you throw in a loop losing speed ,you throw to wild. do bag drills to help you with speed 30 seconds on 30 second off throw straight punches as fast as you can. learn how to glide with your feet you bounce to much wasting unnecessary energy if you were in California I could show in person what I mean. Practice makes perfect so work on what I wrote
You have potential, had their been no headgear that lad would have been KO'd. First fight nerves and everything but anyway welldone first of all.
Im not a amateur but ive done have heavy sparring and with the headgear you can go so risk free at times however it's a bad bad habit.
As someone mentioned above your hands are far too low at times when you connect him but you need to keep your left hand up at all times and bring it back like into the same position just below the chin.
I didn't see no uppercuts get em in there straight after your left get a right uppercut in.
Dont get wild stay focused, when's the last time you fought?
