He had some decent boxing skills, he kept getting battered if he blocked the big punches, it would have been good, just imagine someone like Lacy havin defensive skills like Mayweather or Wright...IMO Lacy still got beaten bad, and this is from a lacy fan, I feel bad for him, but lacy will comeback and get another world title...i hope he does

Lacy had no chance against Calzaghe.
Lacy is a great fighter, dont get me wrong, I'm taking nothing at all away from that fella but Calzaghe is ****ing phenomenal.
..also, there is no such thing as "could have" in boxing.
'Could haves' and 'Ifs' don't count. -
I was amazed watching that fight. I thought Lacy would win but he got a boxing lesson off Calzaghe. great for us Brits!Comment

well considering he spars with Winky and was an Olympic bronze medalist he should have, but he froze up and got thoroughly **** on by Joe from the first bell to the last. When you look at the build up to the fight Lacy was as tense as **** and knew he couldnt beat Joe, everyone said his body language was poor.
