Comments Thread For: Algieri Vows Not To Make Ruslan Mistake With Pacquiao

WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri (20-0, 8KOs) is not going to make the same mistake twice. This past June at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Ruslan Provodnikov caught Algieri with a huge shot the first round and it led to two knockdowns and Algieri suffering a severely damaged eye. Algieri's eye was practically swollen shut by the second round.

Too much money involved for arum putting PAC fights on in Macau and a PAC loss would mean Mannys stock drops

So this cautious style by algieri isn't gonna win him the fight but hats off to him - he's in a big fight

    But never gets the win

An intelligent man is not easy to beat. Yes Pacquiao is the favourite but Algieri is real guys. He knows his own strengths and will use them to maximum effect. An intelligent man can adapt and has the analytical skills to sus out the situation and change. I'm looking forward to this fight. We already know he can take a shot so what more can Pacquiao bring to the table?

I could see this fight go two different ways. Either Pac beats the **** outta Algieri, or Algieri outboxes him and gets robbed, while NSB becomes divided in a all out war of posters saying if Pac really won or lost the fight.
