The main obstacle to make this fight is Bob Arum (I guess it wouldn't be so difficult for both to agree in certain weight given the type of money that this fight would generate). Arum doesn't want to pay Chavez well unless Jr. signs a contract extension and Chavez wants to leave a.s.a.p. to move under Al Haymon (rumor was that an agreement for 40-45 million should be waiting). GGG, Froch and/or Alvarez are not happening until Arum becomes more flexible.Comment

Yeah, when Chavez jr was at 160 they said they wouldn't go to 160 because Nelo was a small JMW. **** this dudes.Comment

If they say it may still happen but would be at 160, then don't rebuttal that 165 is more realistic; how the hell would you know . Just follow along and they'll keep you informed.
It's funny how Chavez ran away from GGG crying Arum was being mean, now they want discussions with Canelo a smaller dude, to come up from 154. Canelo is fighting Cotto first, period. They can throw Chevez name around but that's leverage to get Cotto on the dotted line. Cotto can't beat Canelo, but it's a massive payday for both fighters; thee fight everyone wants to fight. But when Canelo beats Cotto, Canelo vs GGG is the more natural fight to happen, with both belts on the line. Gennady would be too much for Canelo in an epic fight. Cotto would never come back to challenge GGG, leaving either Ward or Chavez for Gennady.Comment
