    Why Jeff Lacy Lost Yesterday

He was underestimating Calzaghe, He was pressurised by the home crowd, because everyone was cheering for Calzaghe and when he made a entrance there was a big sound of boo's. Lacy was also not concentrating that well and thought Calzaghe might be a Robin Reid.

If a rematch happens, and Lacy concentrates more and its in US, and DOES'NT underestimate his opponent, then he would be good...

Man im a big lacy fan here, but i was disappointed with tonights performance, lacy should have trained harder and concentrated...

Props to Calzaghe, He has proved hes a fighter, I was really impressed with his performance.

Props to Lacy for taking this fight so early in his career, and travelling to a different country to fight him. he will come back and he will look good.

Calzaghe was the better fighter, no doubt.

Lacy is still young...he got a bright future, lets see, few tune up fights, and train hard for a big fight and he will be back, i just want him and calzaghe fighting again where lacy is'nt pressurised

A bull**** load of Excuses. He lost as he was simply not good enough. It makes no difference about his mental shap pr lack of training or crowd. Calzaghe is the master boxer. Just accept it and stop making ****ing excuses.

Oh come on, Lacy could never beat Calzaghe, Lacy trained hard, said he was in perfect condition, and even said he LIKED being the underdog. Do you really think he was expecting cheers from a 99% British crowd? He knew what he had to do. Don't get me wrong, he (Lacy) is one hell of a puncher and a good fighter, but his style played right into Calzaghe's hands. Plus Lacy was way fresher than Calzaghe. There's no way around it - Calzaghe is the better boxer.

And please don't flame me or anything, because I was pretty confident Lacy would win at the start and didn't really care who won as long as it was a good fight. It just showed that a come forward big puncher will have serious trouble with a slick boxer-puncher like Calzaghe. Calzaghe was absolutely fantastic last night.. This morning.. Whatever.

He wants a fight where Lacy isn't "pressurised", i.e in St Petersburg. He'd still lose.
