James De La Rosa (22-2, 13KOs) is training for the most high profile fight of his career. He returns on September 13th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where he faces Alfredo Angulo (22-4, 18KOs).

The fight will be part of the undercard to the Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana Showtime Pay-Per-View.

Angulo, coming off two TKO defeats to Saul Alvarez and Erislandy Lara, will make his debut as a middleweight. The fight is going to happen at a catch-weight of 162-pounds.

Regardless i think angulo is going to fight better at 160. He just didnt look good at all walking to the ring in the alvarez fight. Alvarez clearly one the fight. But something was not right with angulo. I'm wishing him well at 160

Perro hasn't looked right since the Kirkland fight, he looked hungover or something. Thanks caged the dog 9 months for forgetting what day of the week it was. Other guys violently attack families get a weekend in jail and pick up some trash.

Sounds to me De La Rosa is letting the big stage get into his head. He should forget about that and just focus on what is in front of him. Angulo looked painfully bad against Canelo and this is a great opportunity to feed off of a big name for De La Rosa.

De la Rosa is the underdog? I hope angulo doesn't take anymore unnecessary punishment
