If anybody would like to contribute, maybe you could post vids of recent fights for any prospects when they fight, or any recent news. Since a lot of these guys will probably fight often and a lot of times their fights go unnoticed and many fans don't get a chance to see our possible future stars.

Also I am not including guys who could of been considered "prospects" with the amount of fights they have, but have taken big step ups and fought somewhat of a world class-level opponent. (I.E. Glazkov, Jennings, etc) or guys who haven't fought the best opponents but are in a position already for a title shot. I.E. Wilder, etc. I am also only including prospects who have made their professional debuts and not amateur prospects.

(some guys have a lot more amateur experience and will probably be moved at a faster pace, and some are older as well + the deep amateur pedigree so they will be moved faster then guys like Lubin, Galazara, etc. although they're being moved fast. but as far as quality of opposition- there's no rush for the young guys)

Interesting. Tough way to "lose" your first fight for a 22 year old prospect.

German Olympian Enrico Koelling is fighting today on the Marco Huck undercard.

Also there's a 20 year old Russian named Murat Gassiev who is 17-0 and ranked 43 on boxrec who's fighting on the same card as well, against an undefeated fighter named Leon Harth (9-0)

Andres "Jaguarcito" Gutierrez - Mexico - 122 lbs

at 21 he has he has compiled a record of 30(22)-0-1. Has displayed power, solid defence and an array of punches and combinations with his uppercuts being some of his deadliest punches. He has great stamina and was chin checked in his last bout after being brutally knocked down on the 3rd round by a vicious uppercut. Not only did he surprise many spectators but it displayed his heart and chin, as well as his rapid ability to recover from damage. Seriously… take a look at that KD, that was a perfect uppercut landing flush, yet he got up and won the rest of the fight soundly, nearly KO'ing the rugged Macias on the 12th.

"King" Arthur Villanueva - Philippines - 115 lbs

Doesn't posses much power but he can box pretty well and has a nice right hand. He had impressed many up until his last fight in which many saw him lose against Fernando Aguilar. It was an intense challenge for the Pinoy and although Aguilar gave his best effort and displayed a huge heart, he came up short and fell to the "King". Hopefully in his next bout in Dubai Villanueva can return to his past form and hopefully step up soon.

Miguel "El Alacran" Berchelt - Mexico - 130
Has displayed poise and power, as well as the ability to string together combinations in an impressive manner. Destroyed formidable vets in Weng Haya and Cristobal Cruz prior to being KO'd himself by KO artist and up incomer Luis Eduardo Flores in the 1st round of their fight early this year. Since tasting defeat he has gone to win his next 2 fights, both by KO. Although he looked a bit more weary and a tad bit shy to shoot his power punches, Berchelt was able to grasp the opportunity to unload a bomb that would put Carlos Manuel Reyes away in their most recent brawl. Not only was it an impressive KO but it gave El Alacran the confidence boost he needed after suffering such a brutal first loss a few fights back.

Yeah, np. I will get back to this thread when i have more time. Thanks for taking the names i mentioned into consideration and adding them. I really like this thread, wish people would also put together a small paragraph describing a prospects strengths and weakness, notable fights, etc...you know, to add depth to the thread. Nice topic and great list, hope to see and discover many more exciting fighters.

Great idea. That was the plan. I'm going to to some write ups on the prospects as they start to fight. I posted a couple of guys who are fighting soon on the last page or two.

Videos after their upcoming fights will be great too, which I will contribute as well.

All my favorite Prospects already on that list so I agree, would also add:

                      Marcos Antonio Hernandez
                      Justin Deloach
                      Prichard Colon
                      Semajay Thomas

extremely young prospects all very early in their Pro Careers

It is a Cuban fighter that I became a huge fan up during the 2012 Olympics:
                      Robeisy Ramirez Carrazana

not sure if we will ever seen him as a PRO but as far as pure talent goes he has "IT", GIFTED young fighter with a very exciting style, very similar to Gamboa but even more skilled than Gamboa IMO
