Hm. You realize that Andre Ward was dropped by Darnell Boone also, right? How do you feel about Ward?

Kovalev had a 175lb man standing on his foot and got punched and it didn't even faze him. That would of knocked Pac, Floyd, GGG or any other boxer right down on their butts.

      Kovalev doesn't have good balance.
Floyd would get murdered, he's too small.

The primary reason Ward and B-Hop get the nod over Golovkin is not just skill but size, they're both bigger with the ability to bully on the inside. Were they natural middleweights at this point would get they get the "fantasy" nod? I doubt it.

No you don't. Stevens is only 5 foot 7 with short reach and not good speed but was tagging GGG almost at will. Kovalev is 6 foot and the all around superior boxer to Stevens. GGG's movement is god awful to go along with his crap defense. If he takes shots like he did in the Stevens fight, the fight will be over sooner then later for him.

Stevens isn't slow, dunno what crack you're smoking. He also wasn't tagging GGG "almost at will" whatsoever, he actually rarely hit him flush, as you'll see in the HBO slowmo where you'll see him parry with his shoulder. Lastly, Golovkin has one of the highest hit/to not be hit ratios, so no his defense is not crap, it's actually fairly good for his style. Golovkin - 293/794, Stevens - 97/303 in total. Keep spouting garbage, please. Also, didn't stevens easily outbox Boone, who took Kovalev to a split decision, knocked out Adonis stevenson and knocked down Ward? He's not an amazing boxer, but he's definitely not crap.

As I've said before and I'll keep saying, Golovkin is better than Kovalev in close to every department that matters besides size, everything points to that, including his amateur career.

I feel Andre Ward is the best fighter in the world. That was the only round Ward lost to Boone. Kovalev was lucky to get the decision in their first fight. That's why he had to fight him again.

Sorry to point out the obvious but 168 is not a catch weight.

Big GGG fan but size alone for two power punching bulleyes, you'd have to favour a taller, longer reaching bigger Kov. If hypothetically they were both true SMW's,different matter..GGG.

168 is not a catchweight that is a super middleweight fight.
