I also don't see how that was a good win for Trout. It would be one thing if he overcame adversity to beat a top fighter, but this is Daniel frickin Dawson we're talking about. That Trout had to overcome adversity is a sign that he didn't perform well, and he's looking increasingly shaky in my view.
Yeah, what's with these posts about the fight being good? Dawson threw maybe ten meaningful punches in the entire fight, and he dropped Trout with two of them. Not a good look for Trout.

Trout pulls his punches infuriatingly often. He never really commits. If he had, he would have gotten the stoppage.

I feel this fight did nothing for Trout, but ask more questions. He was in the ring with a 36 year old C level fighter at the end of his career and Dawson made it a fight. Trout's chin is looking more suspect with each fight. He never fully commits to any of his punches and when he does he gets caught. How would he fair against the top level guys in the division if he's struggling with over the hill C-level fighters?? For me this fight did nothing but make me thing he might be shot and nearing the end of his career. Even with one leg, Trout couldn't get the job done.

Yes but did you know that the solar flares where its highest in the past couple of years? That would result in the higher earth temperature that we have been having the past 6 or 7 years, also the massive amounts of forest fires as well. That led to the "global warming" bs that they also tried to tax people a "carbon tax" through al gore. **** happens. Some places, like east coast in the past week for example, has been getting TOO MUCH water from the constant rains. Get educated first before you start sounding like the idiot that we already see that you are. Its a BOXING website, not a "blog" about water. Douche.

OK, Trout looked good, one guy said he didn't commit on his punching. Looks to me like Trout was conserving his resources, he didn't waste his punches. He maintained his composure and didn't foolishly throw his chances away.

I pologize, I saw red. Waste is inexcusable, especially in the ring. Wasted movement, wasted punches, wasted energy. All that will only get you KOd. I don't like waste, sorry.

Because he's slow and doesn't have good balance or defense. If he committed anymore he'd end up on the canvas.
