I let out a loud "ohh" or "agh" whenever something exciting happens in any fight, but hand downs, JMM knocking out Pacquiao. Had $100 on JMM by decision, so watching him win by ko was sooo bittersweet. Honestly I questioned if I should apologize to my neighbors for all the obscenities I yelled at the tv that night.

When Maidana knocked Broner down the first time.
When Soto-Karass dropped Berto
When Mosley hurt Mayweather in round 2
The first fight I watched was Chavez-Camacho. After that, I watched every Chavez fight. When Chavez fought Frankie Randall the first time, I was in Mexico and unable to watch it. The next morning I was having breakfast and my uncle was reading the newspaper and the back page read, "Dolio la Derrota de Chavez"... translates to "Chavez' Defeat Hurt."
I read it and I thought so highly of Chavez, I was a kid and I thought he would never lose, much less to a guy I had never heard of. My brain didn't process that sentence correctly, my brain read it like, "Chavez' Victory Hurt." So I was like "cool, of course he won."
Minutes later, I started thinking about that phrase, "Chavez' Victory Hurt," "Chavez' Victory Hurt," - that doesn't make sense, "Chavez' Victory Hurt," wait, then it hit me, "Chavez' Defeat Hurt!" WTF!!!! I jumped up and snatched the newspaper from my uncle. I could not believe! I was shocked.Last edited by El Gitano; 08-23-2014, 01:59 AM.
