    How does Kovalev/Hopkins affect Quillin/Korobov?

So Kovalev/Hopkins just got locked in for that date in AC, it looks more likely that Quillin/Korobov will be moved to the week after in either DC or Brooklyn.

Nov 1 seems to be out of the question because showtime already seems to have a show in the works for UIC with Tomoki Kameda and Fonfara

They of course won't go against hopkins/Kovalev

I'm thinking that they'll put it in Brooklyn with Danny Jacobs being on the undercard, possibly defending against Chudinov and trying to "marinate" a potential lolification between each other if they both win.

Only thing other than CFB I could see getting in the way is Cain Velasquez. I don't know how big he is, popularity wise, in combat sports....or if his fight with Werndum has any major implications.

    Thoughts?

I'll be at UIC on Nov. 1st if that card does go down.

Is Qullin headlining? I think ROC Nation needs to win the Wilder-Stiverne purse bid to have a decent show. They have no fighters. Also the Rigondeaux vs Avalos puse bid is coming up.

      Wilder-Stiverne
      Quillin-Korobov
      Rigo-Avalos

That would be a soid first show.

So far I think it's Tomoki against his mando and Fonfara against TBA. I think they might add one more to make it a triple header

The only one they got to worry about is the Wilder/Stiverne.....put the same amount up as the first bid because I could see GBP trying to win it.

Rigo/Avalos, they should be good...although why wait for purse bids if they're going to be putting bank down on these fights?

I assume Quillin/Korobov is going to headine.... unless they just felt like spending almost 2 million on an undercard fight

That's a lot of money. Hard to turn a profit from bidding on all those fights Id imagine. They already ****ed up by bidding 1.9M on Quillin-Korobov.

They have no fighters. How else will they make an undercard?

Well, they wanted to send a message. Why send it on one fight instead of the whole card? If they bid low on the others, the fighters will be kind of salty that they showed more love to Quillin than them

I mean, you're right. My point was that they ****ed up bidding that much in that fight. Especially when you consider what the other guys bid.

Well, besides Rigo, the other guys aren't used to getting paid too much anyway.

I mean, Rigo gonna feel like he should be paid more and real salty if Wilder/Quillin get more and he fought the better opposition
