  • Comments Thread For: Jamie Moore Details The Shooting Incident in Spain

Former champion boxer Jamie Moore has admitted he feared for his life after he was shot earlier this month in Marbella.

In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports News HQ, Moore revealed he hopes to be back in the gym within six months – despite still having a bullet lodged in his leg.

"I'm feeling not too bad to be honest," said Moore, who was in Spain in his new role as a trainer working with world title contender Matthew Macklin.

"Obviously I'm still a bit shocked about what happened and why but I've been quite positive all the way through. I'm just glad to be here because by all accounts it was a bit of a close shave.

Apparently he was at a party where a load of criminals were. Personally I think people should be judged by the company they keep.

What? His bud shot him? I knew a guy who's buddy shot him in the face by accident, or so he said. We used to call him Feo. That was no accident.

No I'm saying he was hanging around with criminals (or so the story goes), and he ended up paying the price. I think it's highly unlikely Moore wasn't aware what the type of people he was hanging around with were up to.

Oh yes, those criminals that Jamie Moore hangs about with in between his job as a ringside pundit and pro boxing trainer.

Mistaken identity my hole. Macklin is mixed up with some seriously dangerous ****s, and if Moore has any sense at all he'll stay as far away from him as he possibly can.

Are you saying it's not possible? Of course it's possible he's dabbling in something to make a few extra £.
