In a fair fight with an honest referee, Gennady Golovkin would KO Andre Ward

I notice you only make excuses when it comes to fighters you are a fan of. Being unbiased means calling a spade a spade. Ward beats GGG in Kazakhstan or anywhere else. He's just a horrible style matchup for GGG.

Doesn't matter if he hits harder than Froch. He's a hell of a lot better counterpuncher and much more accurate than Carl. And that accuracy comes with power. He's also a much more technically sound fighter. Never been knocked down in a fight so he's got a chin. At least at MW. Excellent jab. He's got great footwork and is a master at controlling distance himself. Like a lot of people have already said, Ward will try to stay outside and jump in with quick jabs to the head and body before grabbing GGG. If Golovkin times him and starts connecting with power, what's Ward's plan B? Mugging him like he did Kessler? I have seen many examples of Glolovkin showing good sportsmanship. Never seen a guy hit with so many low blows and he never complains. There were 6 or 7 in each of his last 2 fights. It will be interesting to see how he handles some rough tactics from Ward. I know he practices a lot of inside hand to hand and leverage techniques. I have a feeling he's gonna need them.

You'll be betting the house on that then? Can you elaborate on why it's such a bad style matchup for GGG?

Ward is bigger, physically stronger and operates better on the inside. Golovkin will be forced to fight going backwards, all whilst eating one of the stiffest jab in the game.

GGG would put a beating on Andre worse than Goosen did over the past few years.

A fair referee would warn and then deduct points from Ward for holding...

And warn him to stop headbutting, and then DQ him if he does it again.

Without his illegal tactics, Andre Ward is not going to win against a decent opponent. That's why he always demands home advantage.

Doubt it. You'd have to DQ Ward. Will be a wrestling match and Ward's the bigger, stronger guy.

The first thing GGG would have to do to beat Ward is beat him in the negotiation table, imo. GGG is definitely the A side, so take advantage of that position. Don't fight him in Oakland and have a competent referee that won't allow any of Ward's dirty tactics.

                    Yes, exactly.

The prima donna Andre Ward will demand all the advantages, but Loeffler shouldn't give in to him.
