Marquez is still pondering whether or not he intends to continue his career. The 41-year-old boxer was in action in May, when he won a twelve round decision over Mike Alvarado.

          :
What fight were you watching? He caught Pac with that shot practically everytime he threw it. He knocked him down in the 3rd with it, he even caught him with a harder overhand halfway through the fifth.

Alvarado is a decent fighter and at one point a champ at 140...but the man was coming off a beatdown against Provo. So thus, JMM's win against Mike was a good win,...but not that impressive to me. Ducking Provo just made me hate the fight a bit more.
This is probably the dumbest **** I ever read. Who at 140 do u think can beat jmm? Ducked provo? Oh right cause u need to be a master boxer like algeri to beat prov

At this point in his career, he can do what he wants.

Heard he was in good shape financially, unlike some folks he KTFO.

But we won't talk about that here.

                It's undignified.

He should have taken the Pacquiao fight for 10 mil (not sure how much Arum offerd tho). Win or lose he will still be 10 mil richer. He is already a HOF fighter. Asking for 20 mil for the fight is just ridiculous. Even the knockout loss of Manny he is still one of the main attraction of the sport alongside FMJ.
