  • Comments Thread For: Robert Guerrero: I'd Love To Fight Kell Brook in The UK!

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport has mentioned several possible names for Kell Brook's first defense of the IBF welterweight title. If everything goes according to plan, Brook (33-0, 22KOs) will return on December 6th in Sheffield.

Last weekend, Brook captured the IBF title with a twelve round majority decision over Shawn Porter at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Former champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (32-2-1, 18KOs) was one of several names mentioned by Hearn to challenge Brook in December.

in other words, he'd love ANY opportunity at a high profile fight en route to his dream rematch with Mayweather after he said his punches were ---this close--- to landing and closer than any other Mayweather opponent.

I like the match up!!! Brook is a good enough boxer and Robert is a good enough fighter to make this an interesting bout! Make it happen!!! Ray.

Robert went life and death in his last fight, Kell should be the last person on his radar.

Kell by 12-round beat down. Robert too slow, can't pierce a good defence for ****. Rob needs a fighter to open up- Rios v Guerrero I'd like to see.

                  Let's do it.

Guerrero is a solid fighter, but Brook's style is all wrong for him. Wide UD.

Porter, Guerrero, Thurman, Marquez...None Wanted Porter; They All Want Brook

Funny how after Porter blew out Paulie Mags, it was pretty quiet; nobody throwing their hat in to fight Porter. Shawn even called out Marquez and heard crickets. Now Brook wins and they all want in on Brook in Wembly for the payday. Brook will be found plenty tough enough no matter where he fights. As awkward as Porter is to fight, we really didn't get a chance to see the best of Brook, his one punch knockout power. That's soon to come; once he gets Amir Khan-job in the ring first. We won't have to hear anymore about Amir after that fight.
