Was hoping for a more "exciting" fight, a Brandon Rios or Andre Berto, but this will do I suppose. The guy is tough and will go the full 12, likely take some of the shine off Kell's performance. No chance of an upset though, and a good workout in preparation for smashing Amir Khan's "Islamabad chin" in the spring of 2015.
Kell Brook's "soft" first defence in Sheffield likely against Leonard Bundu.

Hearn said he doesn't want to have the Bundu mandatory, will try and delay it for at least the next 2 fights.Comment

Brook just won the IBF title and this guy is ranked 3rd by the IBF so this would be a good title fight for Brook. Neither Rios nor Berto are ranked at all by the IBF and would not be worthy to challenge Brook at this time. Was hoping for a more "exciting" fight, a Brandon Rios or Andre Berto, but this will do I suppose. Bundu put the previously unbeaten Frankie Gavin down with a wicked punch to the liver. He ain't soft, but Brook seems too much for him also at this pointComment
