Anyone seen this guy fight? Hoping he has a Salido type style, so Loma could get more experience with fighting that style.

I hope Lomachenko KO's this dude with-in 4 rounds. I'm really liking what I see from Lomachenko, it makes me respect Salido because he had to pull every trick in the book to get that split decision. I think Salido vs. Lomachenko II would be a VERY different fight.

lomachenko KOs donaire easy, he beats rigo easy, he decimates mares easy, rematches and beats the cheater salido easy, etc.

loamchenko = the future when ATG wlad, pac and froch retires
Lol wut. Guy has 3 fights. Calm down.

One thing I am pleased about though is loma is at least fighting a ranked contender. And he is willing to step up so I can't hate on him for that. Let's wait until he gets to 10 fights or beats a big name then we can start bandwagoning.

Don't forget Loma is a baby as a professional.

The trouble with starting his career so abruptly is that now when most fighters are still coming up and knocking out bums he's going to be expected to fight superstars 5 divisions above him because he set the bar so high with is first few fights (and ammy record).

agreed, and i'd love to see that rematch. but i doubt it will happen, and if it does, probably not anytime soon.

his skills in the pro scene is questionable,
but he's willing to fight the best out there, willing to risk losses.
                no undefeated-marketing bull ****.
that's exactly why he's my fav active boxer atm.

If loma can demonstrate that he can fight someone who can rough people up then I'll support him. Russel jr sure as hell can't and loma's body work was impressive that night. This is a good matchup against a legit ranked opponent so it's good experience for him

yah and look at who he fought and beat in those 3 fights. he could have beat salido too if salido wasn't fouling like a maniac and didn't have a 20+ lb weight advantage like a coward.

mark my words, lomachenko KOs donaire and mares next year and then KOs gonzalez and moves up to 130 to rematch and beat salido.

His debut was impressive I'll give you that but russel isn't exactly donaire or mares. As for salido and his weight it wasn't over 20 pounds. You 're a fool if you don't think loma rehydrated. He fought in the lightweight division in the ams! He would be at the very least 132 on fight night against salido but it's likely higher. There would be around 10 lbs difference, a very normal difference in the pros. Also salido isn't even the dirtiest fighter around and loma was holding as well. But I'm sure it would be very different now if they fought again.
