Me and my friends were talking about this. He seems to just fight on cinco de mayo and Mexican Independence day. Is there a reason for this? We thought maybe he has a big Mexican fan base but we notice a lot of them boo him when he is fighting. What do you think?
Why does Floyd Mayweather fight on Mexican Holidays?

The mystery that intrigued you in to making an account on this site.
Although it is a really "you don't say" type of thing, but I'll say it anyways: Mexicans are huge boxing fans and are in large numbers in the U.S. Fighting on their holiday especially against their guy (cheers or boos) brings in bigger $ than it would otherwise.Comment

Because he can't stand when something is bigger than he is.. So he does what he can to make it all about him.. It's what insecure narcissists do.Comment

Well I'm a casual fan. Don't know much about what's going on behind the scenes. So I'm assuming his fan base isn't as large it seems. That's interesting.Comment

the guys that are booing him also paid to watch him fight, thats all that matters. he prefers to fight mexicans or mexican-americans. Even if they suck balls, like guerrero and ortiz, they will still sell tickets.Comment

His fanbase are the Latinos or Hispanic, that's why he fights on their day and that's why he is the highest paid sportsman alive right now... So I don't know what you meant by "His fan base isn't as large as it seems" emm right after you said you are a casual fan and don't know what is going on behind the seen lol.. Am guessing you know exactly what is going on and am guessing you are a regular on here, ALT alert...Comment
