unfortunately, it seems mikey doesn't love boxing, and i don't think he plans on fighting much longer. we also don't know how he will do as he goes up in weight. he freaking kills hiimself to get down to those small weight classes.
    More than Terence Crawford?

    I don't agree.

Whoever voted for Lomo...wow..he is 1-1 fellas, relax. He may become great, he has all the tools but NO fighter is anywhere near a top list or P4P list with under 25 fights vs solid world-class competition.

Mares got KTFO'd in his best step-up fight and has a lot to prove. As a Mares fan, he needs to take the rematch.

Crawford will be at 140 lbs soon and looks really good.

I love Mikey and hope that he has sticks with boxing but it seems like he has his heart somewhere else.

not to metion the siri salido fight. siri is a top fighter, and he beat lomachenko. garcia showed real class against salido. he was sharp as hell and punching with tons of power. dropped salido four times, iirc.

how anybody could say that lomachenko is ahead of garcia is way beyond me. i understand that lomachenko is talented, and has otns of potential, but that's not the purpose of the thread.

mikey has a better resume than crawford, and he's a better fighter. crawford is much bigger, so obviously i'd pick him to beat garcia.

Exactly what I was thinking. Mikey Garcia and Vasyl Lomachenko are the same age, but Garcia beat the s**t out of Salido and Lomachenko lost to Salido. And I'll take Garcia's resume of Martinez, Burgos, and Lopez over Lomachenko's resume of Russell Jr. any day.

Garcia and Mares are the most accomplished. It's between them.

That's why he's like "Boxing is too easy..no competition". Then move up in weight, he knows damn well where the competition is but he's down there killing himself to make weight in that empty ass weight class.

Read your comment again How does that make sense? He was stopped so how does that make him more accomplished than Danny Garcia?

Don't get me Wrong, Mares would be next in line after Garcia for me only become of that Loss, sure you can argue that Danny Garcia lost to Herrera but Danny did not get STOP! But yes Wins over Agbeko and Chemito Moreno was excellent wins, Moreno was a Top 10 P4P Fighter going into that fight so no question Mares is one of the best 25-29 year old fighters today

Mares has accomplished the most.Has the best resume along with Danny Garcia.
Brook has talent but resume is weak. Khan faltered against guys he should've beat. Crawford is looking very good and could soon be amongst the elite.

Just cause you were stopped doesn't exclude your accomplishments.

Pacquiao has accomplished a lot for example, but was stopped 3 times, it doesn't eliminate what he has done. Same with any other fighter.
Personally I think Garcia's wins over Khan and Matthysse are better than Mares best wins so I picked Garcia. But not because Mares was stopped.

It's the weirdest thing I have seen. People said Russell Jr was a hype job, protected, he's not good, etc. But then Lomachenko beats him and he becomes the best fighter in the world.
