Comments Thread For: Leo Santa Cruz: Guillermo Rigondeaux is Not Invincible

WBC super bantamweight champion, Leo Santa Cruz (27-0-1, 15 KOs) will defend his title against world ranked Manuel Roman (17-2-3, 6 KOs) on September 13th at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, on the undercard of the rematch bout between Mayweather and Maidana.

A victory would propel Santa Cruz, ever closer to a showdown with Cuba's WBA/WBO champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (14-0, 9 KOs). They've both been challenging each other via ping pong on their social networks.

Is this all from the same interview or something? This is like 3 quotes about not fearing Rigondeaux in the past week.

Shut the **** up Leo. You're needed back out on the cherry farm.

If he really believed that he wouldn't be fighting his sparring partner in a ppv co feature.

                Talk is cheap...
Now it's not in this interview but he almost never forget to mention that how the choice is not his task and how he isn't responsible for his next opponent.
That's pretty much jut a bull**** and everyone knows it. In the recent past Canelo had already proved that if a fighter really wants it, than he can fight against real top opponents, don't matter how his promoters or coaches don't want it. Ok, Canelo is way bigger draw than LSC, he has more chip on his next opponenet but that's also not impossibel for Haymon fighters... So enough from the talk and the "Haymon will decide" bull**** which is only a seatbelt for why he won't fight with Rigo at the end of the day and if he really wants the Rigo fight then he should be learn from Canelo's copy and not let Haymon to decide because if he lets Haymon to decide he will be nothing more in the boxing history than a rich nobody who always dodged the real big challenges and nobody will know his name 10-20 years later. If he fights with Rigo and get an L (what probably would happen) at least he can say that he tried and wanted to be more than a rich nobody.
And it goes to a plenty of Haymon fighters. Maybe they make big money with fighting bums, but at the end of they day with this overwise, managemant their legacy will worth shit and nobody will remember their names a few years later.

                    Make this fight happen...salivating.

On an another note, I know of at least two Pac fans that will not appreciate the use of , " ping pong " to describe the back and forth of these two fighters
