Not hard to do seeing as Wilder brings nothing into the equation.

Wilder is ****, and may never be that good, but he needs these easy fights for this long to learn how to actually box.
No he doesn't. He needs (or needed) to be facing guys that would give him rounds, not the Jay Gaverns or Audley Harrisons of the hw boxing world. His team should have stuck in him with guys like Dom Guinn, Derick Rossy, Tony Thompson, Odlanier Solis.

He's set to step up against Stiverne and I think he's very ill equiped

I agree, and I meant more that he needed those fights so far. But yeah, jumping him to Stiverne off his current level of competition is probably a mistake. Maybe Wilder hits hard enough to make up for it.

I think Wilder could have been facing those fighters I mentioned, 5-8 fights ago. Now a days, fighters (or more accurately, their management) are so intent on protecting their "O" to the point where they shun any calculated risk.

Before Deontay's last fight, I was optimistic that he would have a good chance against Stiverne but watching him against Gavern he looked extremely one dimensional. Gavern was able to land some good shots and when he started to work on the inside, Wilder seemed flustered

I don't think Wilder has the skills to beat Stiverne but, maybe, his power will bail him out

Well wilder is fighting for championship next...hopefully, and Kov has belt yes but in HW division all belts belong to one man except the one hes fighting for.

Dont think one has accomplished more than the other yet. Both in right direction next fights though
